To provide electrical expertise in all facilities of the onshore infrastructure and systems.
Duties include;
Planned maintenance and reactive diagnosis and repairs on all electrical systems down to component level.
Oversea, manage and train a local national workforce to increase their competence and knowledge.
Work as an electrical specialist along with other multi-skilled Technicians.
Primary responsibility for on-the-job trade training and Supervision of all local onshore craft tradesmen.
Training of :- Electricians & Plumbers
QA/QC and inspection of the work of all trainee national craftsmen, including general infrastructure repairs and maintenance work, concrete, pipe-laying, roofing and excavation works.
Be on-call 24/7 for all reactive works as required
Act as Fire Warden and holder of master keys in the event of locked-out problems.
Proactively maintain and repair electrical equipment throughout all MEGI Onshore facilities.
Maintain and repair onshore electrical systems, including main 1000 KVA C32 generators, smaller generators (7.5 to 365KVA), motors, pumps, fire alarm system, lenel security access system, main transformers and main UPS systems
Ensure all eMERGE programs are carried out in accordance with eMERGE PPM Plan
Action all reactive demand eMERGE work requests rapidly to effect repairs
Ensure all equipment is operating within design limits and operating at maximum efficiency
Participate in start up and commissioning of new facilities and equipment.
Advise on energy efficiency of equipment and instigate cost saving measures as required
Mandatory to promptly report all accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions or practices following the LPS system
Develop National staff by mentoring and training to increase competence and workmanship quality
Quality Measures
Generator Downtime KPI’s, PPM KPI’s, CM KPI’s & Safety Incident KPI’s
Skills,
Knowledge required;
Multi-skilled and advantage (Plumbing , Potable Water Systems, Mechanical, AC, Building & Construction, Keys/Locks) & HV certification
Fluent in English - Spanish would be an advantage but not essential
O&G Industry experience and Expat working knowledge is desirable
Strong Safety Leadership and Computer Literacy (Word & Excel)
