Function: Electrical (MCC) Construction Supervisor
Location: Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands
Duration: Approx. 9 months
Start: ASAP, November 2020

We currently seek a Electrical (MCC) Construction Supervisor to work on a contract basis for a period of approx 9 months. Based in Bergen op Zoom (the Netherlands) you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.

Function Profile:
• The construction supervisor will direct project construction activities, to ensure the safe and timely completion of mining site construction activities.
• The construction supervisor will work directly with first-line supervisors and construction crews, focusing on Electrical activities; Specifically on MCC (Motor Control Centers).
• Migration of current MCC panels to new MCC panels, with a limited number of live cables.
• Performs on-site management, supervision and coordination of Electrical contractors and vendors
• Executes field construction activities in conformance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, procedures, quality requirements and safety standards.
• Controls project schedule and cost through the efficient use of all electrical construction resources including manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Provides input for the development of project schedules in cooperation with the construction engineers and planners.
• Ensures that daily and weekly short-range planning is maintained.

Requirements:
• Candidate must be an Electrical construction professional with large industrial construction experience.
• Specific knowledge and experience on Power distribution systems (switchgears, switchboards, transformers, and panelboards) used in large industrial applications / projects.
• Self-performed construction supervision experience and construction planning skills required.
• Degree or equivalent project experience
• Minimum 8 years of relevant construction / field supervisor experience
• Fluent in English, preferable in Dutch
