We have an exciting opportunity working for an incredible EPC, making the world a better place. We are in the construction phase, building a chemical plant, for packaging materials, that will reduce Food Waste  

We require an Electrical Supervisor:

About you:

  • A strong understanding of the specific electrical requirements for these environments is essential.

  • You are a skilled and confident leader with the ability to motivate and guide a team of electrical professionals.

  • You are proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.

  • Experience working within a collaborative contracting environment is preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design review of electrical and instrumentation systems for the new facility.

  • Develop detailed electrical and instrumentation engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Select, size, and specify electrical equipment (motors, transformers, switchgear, etc.) and instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, control valves, etc.)

  • Perform electrical load calculations and short circuit analysis.

  • Prepare cable schedules and routing plans.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for electrical and instrumentation equipment.

  • Perform inspections and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure they meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with the commissioning and startup of electrical and instrumentation systems.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design documents, test reports, and commissioning procedures.

  • Stay up-to-date on relevant codes and standards for the chemical industry (e.g., GAMP, ISPE).
