Superintendent – Electrical
Location: Boulder, CO (near Denver)
Company Type: EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
Employment Type: Contract (Estimated Duration: 2 years)
Start Date: January 2026
Pay Range: $92,000 – $162,000
Schedule: 5x10s (Mon–Fri)
Local Requirement: Must be local; no per diem or travel expenses provided
Role Overview
The Electrical Superintendent will support site operations by overseeing electrical and instrumentation activities for a major EPC project. This position is primarily field-based with some office responsibilities and requires strong coordination skills with craft and union contractors. You’ll act as a safety leader, manage documentation, and ensure smooth execution of electrical work throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Safety Ambassador, promoting and enforcing site safety standards.
- Coordinate electrical and instrumentation work across contractors and site services.
- Oversee installation activities, including:
- Cameras, demo of existing facilities, lighting, electrical panels.
- Temporary power setup (generators) and IT network support.
- Manage grounding during civil works and support electrical contractor activities.
- Interface with multiple contractors (not direct supervision).
- Review and maintain documentation; assist with planning and scheduling.
- Monitor progress and provide field support as E&I work increases.
- Occasionally assist during night shifts or weekends for critical activities.
Requirements
Experience:
- 10+ years of field experience
- Strong electrical background (medium to low voltage).
- Instrumentation experience is a plus.
- Craft and union experience preferred
Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with craft teams and understand technical requirements.
- Basic office/computer skills for documentation and coordination.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
Industry Background:
- Commercial or light industrial experience preferred (not heavy industrial).
- Pharmaceutical or semiconductor experience is a plus.
Education: Degree not required.
Certifications: Safety training and relevant electrical certifications are advantageous.

- Dress code: Field construction attire (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, vest, ear protection).
