Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in FPSO operations and offshore electrical maintenance? We are seeking a safety-focused and technically skilled professional to join a high-performing offshore team supporting a major production asset in Equatorial Guinea.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of critical electrical systems, lead a team of technicians, and play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient offshore operations.

About the Role

As the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and performance of all electrical systems and equipment onboard the FPSO. You will provide hands-on leadership to electrical personnel while ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, electrical safety standards, and offshore best practices.

You will work closely with onboard leadership and multidisciplinary teams to maintain operational integrity and drive continuous improvement across the asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities across electrical distribution and generation systems

• Ensure safe operation of switchboards, motors, generators, UPS systems, batteries and associated electrical equipment

• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities within agreed schedules

• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for reliability improvements

• Maintain accurate records within maintenance management systems

Fault Finding & Diagnostics

• Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations on electrical failures

• Conduct inspections, testing and diagnostics to identify equipment issues

• Implement effective corrective actions and ensure proper documentation

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor electrical technicians and contractors onboard

• Conduct toolbox talks, worksite briefings and safety interventions

• Ensure competency standards and safe work practices are maintained

• Support performance management and workforce development initiatives

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor in the offshore oil & gas industry

• Strong FPSO experience

• Previous supervisory experience managing offshore electrical teams

• Extensive knowledge of power generation, power distribution and electrical maintenance systems

• Experience with Permit to Work systems, electrical isolations and risk assessments

Qualifications & Certifications

• HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance

• Offshore electrical maintenance experience within oil & gas or petrochemical environments

• COMPEx certification highly desirable

• HV/LV switching and protection training advantageous

• Offshore medical certification such as ENG1 (or equivalent)

• Current offshore survival and safety certifications preferred
