The project is located in Western Australia and is FIFO from Perth on a two week on, two week off roster. Previous automotive experience and working on rail will be beneficial and successful candidates will be required to start ASAP.

Job Description

Trade qualification with a minimum of 2 years post Apprenticeship preferred,
Ability to diagnose and rectify faults,
An understanding of quality control and assurances on a Mobile Flash-Butt Welder,
Previous experience working in a Railway environment would be advantageous,
Experience with operation/maintenance of mobile Flash-Butt Welders is highly desirable,
Ability to work in a small team,
Self-motivated to achieve exceptional results.

Job Requirements

Unrestricted Drivers Licence (essential),
Experience of diagnostics and repairs of automotive vehicles highly beneficial,
High Risk Work Licence is desirable (LF, C2, DG, etc),
Australian recognised qualifications,
Maintenance and repair of Electrical equipment,
Hold a current White/Blue Card.

Applicants must:

Demonstrated safety awareness and practice,
Be able to satisfy the requirements of a CAT 1 Rail Safety medical,
Be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol on-site testing,
Be physically able to undertake manual tasks in a challenging environment.
In addition you must be able to satisfy the requirements of a CAT 1 Rail Medical including a drug and alcohol screen before starting and this can also be requested at any time whilst on site.
