"TRS is urgently looking for an Offshore Engine Room Technician to be a part of our International Client's FPSO Project team based WORLDWIDE."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for safe watch keeping, control and maintenance of engine room mechanical equipment and propulsion equipment.
• Maintain routine documentation as required by Company.
• Whenever required, act as MS (maintenance supervisor) or BOX (ballast control operator) as defined in IMO resolution A. 1079 (28).
• Report to 2nd Engineer.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in related field of work.
• Minimum Three (3) years as Pumpman in crude oil tankers or as Engine Room fitter with proven ability of overhauling large pumps and valves experience within Oil and Gas construction.
• Must have FPSO experience.
• International experience in Angola, Africa, Brazil is a plus
• Experience with Total, SHELL, Saipem, SONANGOL, BP is a plus
• Must have BOSIET / OPITO approved
• Must have STCW Certificates, National CoC Reg. III/1 and endorsement
• Must have Valid Medicals
