Job Summary:
- Perform the marine engineering function at support level as indicated in regulation III/4 and/or III/5.
- Execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities and/or qualifications.
- Maintain safe working practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Report to Engineer on watch, execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities.
- Assist with engine room operations and watchkeeping.
- Carry out maintenance as directed by own STCW regulation.
- STCW required certificates, National CoP Reg. III/4 (seniority Junior/Expert).
- STCW required certificates, National CoP Reg. III/5 (seniority Senior).
- Completion of all training and certifications as described in the Training Matrix.
- Experience: minimum 2 years to cover Expert (L2) position.
- English Language skills required.
