We are looking for your expertise as an Environmental Manager to lead environmental compliance and occupational safety programs that support sustainable, safe, and efficient dredging and marine construction activities. The manager ensures that projects meet legal and ethical standards for environmental protection while maintaining a safe working environment for personnel onshore and offshore. This role is based in based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with environmental agencies and stakeholders to report findings and obtain permits.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for offshore and coastal works.
- Ensure compliance with OHS standards such as ISO 45001 and local maritime safety laws.
- Deliver environmental and safety training to crews, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Promote a safety culture through toolbox talks, workshops, and behavior-based safety programs.
- Prepare environmental impact assessments (EIAs), safety reports, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain logs of waste management, emissions, and hazardous material handling.
- Develop and test emergency response plans for oil spills, equipment failure, and environmental hazards.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Science or equivalent.
- Diploma in Safety Management (DipSM) and/or NEBOSH/IOSH diploma or OSHA / OSHAD or equivalent.
- Certification in HSE audit is preferable.
