Client is looking for a Lead Process Control Designer
Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, Chemicals plants
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- KSA‑based candidates highly considered
- Minimum of 10 years in a related field
- Diploma or degree in engineering or design discipline
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant)
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations
Responsibilities:
- Advanced proficiency in CAD/SmartPlant and engineering design software
- Deep understanding of international codes and standards (API, IEC, ISA, NFPA, PIP, ASME, ANSI)
- Ability to interpret and apply project specifications and standards
- Experience preparing proposals for PDP and FEED phases
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing and verifying engineering documents
- Familiarity with multi-disciplinary project environments
- Capability to estimate design man-hours and manage project resources
- Knowledge of safety and process control requirements
- Experience in technical bid clarification and evaluation of vendor/contractor submissions
- Ability to lead technical audits and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Ability to calculate BOQs.
