JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the production facility.
- Facilitate an environment where continued growth and improvement is motivated and supported.
- Facilitate communication between the sales teams, contracts and engineering.
- Ensure healthy communication with the procurement department for ordering of material, equipment and items required for manufacture.
- Responsible for manufacturing quality product, at the right quality with minimal cost incurred.
- Ensure production schedules are followed and prioritize any production schedules as the need arises.
- Matric certificate and Electrical qualifications in electrical wiring and testing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, overseeing a team of at least 60 individuals.
- Manufacturing experience of transformers up to at least 10MVA 33KV is essential.
- Computer literacy and good general computer knowledge and experience in Microsoft office.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing including formal communications and making presentations.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
