We at TRS are currently looking for a talented, highly motivated Field Contracts Administrator for a position based in Calgary, AB to support our client, a world leading Pipeline construction company.
This role is highly detail orientated within pipeline construction contracts. It will encompass both field and home office rotation, working through the administration process of change orders, invoice attestation, strong relationship building and some review of sub-contracts, prime contracts and post award.
The ideal individual will be able to work at a fast pace, be flexible and adaptable in a high volume environment. They will have direct field experience working with engineers and construction teams, and multiple subs on site. Contract experience on pipelines must be equal and above 100 million+
Responsibilities
Administering the request for proposal (RFP) process for contractors; invoice attestation, change orders and compliance
Develop, issue, and manage of tender documentation (RFI’s. RFC’s, ect.) as well as issuances such as requests, negotiations, and approvals of change orders
Strength in contract management supporting pipeline engineering and construction projects
Monitor and track compliance to HSE, quality and financial procedures
Prepare, maintain, retrieve and communicate records, reports and/or documents to meet management requirements
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor degree with 10-15 years of directly related construction experience, and / or up to 5 years of a combination of pipeline experience and education.
SAP, MS Office and Excel
Ability to hit the ground running while working in remote areas
Rotation for position is flexible, but travel up to 50% is required.
