Finance Manager

Our client is a major player in oil and gas industry and are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team in Calgary, AB. In this role you will be responsible for delivering timely analytical analysis for operational decisions and performing forecasting accurately. You will also be preparing and reviewing reports for the financial and operations teams.

Key Job Duties:
• Perform forecast consolidation and compare to previous forecasts
• Ensure costs are being allocated and budgeted accordingly
• Manage timely distribution of reports
• Assess monthly percentage completions reports and profitability analysis
• Approve expenses and track project progress
• Ensure project billings are distributed and payments have been collected

Key Qualifications:
• Post-secondary Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years’ experience in a Project Accounting role
• Accounting designation is required
• Forecasting and budgeting experience is required
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred
