Job Title: Finance Specialist – Accounts Payable

Mission Statement:
• To build collaborative relations with supply chain management and suppliers to develop a compliant purchasing payment strategy for goods and services
• Supporting the cash management strategy by ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors within payment terms
• Adhere to orgainsational payment policies
• Support the processing of accounting transactions for Accounts Payable (AP) ensuring transactions are complete, accurate and processed in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Minimum Grade 12 qualification, Lean six sigma (advantageous)
• More than 5 years financial accounting experience specifically in accounts payable
• Strong reconciliation and MS excel skills
• Strong SAP experience
• Deadline driven and ability to work with teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self management capability
• Proficient in business English
• Customer service orientation
• Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills
• Good organization and coordination skills
• Process orientated and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
