Brief Description

Responsible for performing / reviewing basic/detailed Mechanical design for Fired equipments like Fired Heater, Boiler, Flare Stack, Incinerator, Reformer and related equipments for FEED, Proposal and EPC Project works. Major tasks are :

ITB & Spec summary preparation

MDS , MR , TBE

V/P Check , As built management

Review of 3 D model

Shop quality inspection support & FAT

Support for construction/commissioning

SAT at site

Technical Skills Required:

Knowledge and understanding of API 560, API 530, API 535, ASME Section VIII, ASME Sec. I, HEI, ASME STS-1, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3 and other relevant international codes.

Hands-on experience with design softwares used for above equipment

Strong written and verbal communication skill in English.

Ability to co-ordinate with other disciplines, vendors, client, PMC, as a representative of the Mechanical team.

Other Desirable Requirements:

On site experience and Vendor shop quality check

Open for overseas deputation / business trips

Experience of sizing of Combustion Air Fan, Flue gas fan, Steam Air Preheaters & Air Preheaters, Stack etc.

Refractory calculation & specifications

Experience in design of Burner Managements System & Development of Fuel Firing P&IDs

Experience in Preparation of Process Datasheets of Inst. (CV, PSV, Flow, Temp., Pressure etc.)

Knowledge of burners & emissions

Thorough Experience of vendor’s document review

Experience in design of SRU equipment like Combustion Chamber, Incinerator etc. will be added advantage.

Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
