Major petrochemical company is seeking a Fuel Coordinator for a six month contract to be based in Lake Charles.
Duties:
- Planner
- Plan out moves for various fuel stations relocation to help with fuel efficiency site wide
- Be able to work in and out of SAP for fuel tracking purposes
- Present daily and weekly reports for fueling site wide
- Develop spreadsheets to construct fuel cost and total numbers
- On and off rent fuel equipment as needed
- Communication with Fuel Providers
- Insure tanks at fuel stations are inspected and cleaned regularly
- Receive invoices regarding fuel deliveries
- Check and inspect fuel delivery receipts/invoices daily
- Breakdown fuel invoices to generate total numbers
- Generate reports for deliveries by gallons and cost for weekly reports
- Host and attend meetings regarding fuel issues and concerns
- Plan various work flow for fuel trucks on weekends and holidays
- Coordinate fuel station moves and off rents
- Track down rental cost for fuel trucks and fuel carts
- Breakdown fuel consumption reports
- Check fuel stations daily to acquire how much fuel is being used at each Fuel station
- Effectively generate bar coding for fueling and fuel stations
- Insure that all bar coding leads to correct cost codes
- Stay in contact with on-site fueling team to insure all fueling needs are met
- Track various fueling daily by fuel trucks and fuel carts
- Track down rental cost for fuel trucks and fuel carts
- Communication with Sub Contractors
- Answer various phone calls regarding fuel issues
- Host and attend meetings regarding fuel issues
- Stay in contact with equipment coordinators to make sure their fueling needs are met
