We are urgently seeking a qualified Geotechnical Engineer with a valid Romanian MLPAT Af certification (or equivalent A-type certification) to support geotechnical field investigations and laboratory testing activities for a major project in Cernavoda, Romania.

The candidate will work closely with an experienced geotechnical engineer to oversee and verify the quality and compliance of geotechnical works performed by the contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise geotechnical field investigations, including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.
• Monitor laboratory testing of soil and rock samples to ensure compliance with project specifications and Romanian standards.
• Review and validate geotechnical data and reports provided by the contractor.
• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with applicable regulations and certification requirements.
• Collaborate with the project team to address technical issues and provide expert input during investigations.

Requirements:

• Romanian citizenship or legal eligibility to work in Romania.
• Valid MLPAT Af certification or other equivalent A-type geotechnical certification.
• Proven experience in geotechnical field and laboratory investigations.
• Strong understanding of Romanian geotechnical standards and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other engineers.
• Availability to work on-site in Cernavoda for the full duration of the assignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience on large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with international geotechnical practices and reporting standards.
