Global Mobility Specialist

Our client is a major player in the natural gas industry and are seeking a Global Mobility Specialist to join their team in Vancouver, BC! In this role you will facilitate the movement of staff on short-term and long-term assignments to various worksites and assist with Canadian immigrations and permanent residency affairs.

Key Job Duties:
• Manage policies, guidelines and processes concerning the domestic and international movement of employees across various operating jurisdictions
• Provide support before and during international assignments & transfers
• Serve as a point of contact for employees, managers, HR, Legal, Finance, and Payroll for mobility issues
• Coordinate engagements with partners and third-party vendors
• Prepare and submit immigration applications and connect with the service provider to support mobility needs

Key Qualifications:
• 7+ years of relevant experience in global mobility matters is required
• CGMP™ designation is preferred
• Post-secondary qualifications is an asset
• A strong understanding of cross-border taxation & immigration matters
• Demonstrated level of analytical and problem-solving skills
