Role: Senior HSE Specialist
Location: Płock, Poland
The purpose of this position is to leverage professional experience to propose new or improved HSE management methods on the project site in order to create and maintain a productive and safe working environment while minimizing the risk of injuries, environmental degradation, and unsafe conditions and practices. This objective is achieved by providing guidance and recommending solutions that support project safety and protect the Client’s interests.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's HSE standards, programs, and objectives by applying HSE procedures in accordance with company guidelines at the project site or office, including participation in training activities.
- Ensure project compliance with company requirements, Polish legislation, Client requirements, and applicable HSE regulatory requirements.
- Conduct on-site risk assessments and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
- Promote and support HSE standards and objectives through company and/or project HSE programs to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Manage designated functions through the maintenance of project documentation and records.
- Monitor medium-scale HSE programs by preparing summaries, reports, and presentations for HSE management, and provide recommendations based on analysis and findings.
- Participate in the development of HSE plans and the preparation of HSE specifications.
- Conduct inspections, audits, assessments, reviews, and incident investigations related to HSE activities, including monitoring and documenting project environmental data.
- Prepare and maintain reports and documentation required by the company and regulatory authorities, including monitoring compliance with HSE standards and objectives.
- Analyze issues of varying complexity and formulate independent recommendations in line with organizational and project goals and guidelines.
- Organize and prioritize work effectively and efficiently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Plan and organize individual work activities and carry out tasks assigned by management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
- Adhere to and support the company’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability (HSES) policy.
- Meet attendance and punctuality expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Degree in HSE, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of HSE experience on industrial, construction, or EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of Polish HSE regulations, construction law, and industry standards.
- Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Fluent Polish and good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
