DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for INDUSTRIAL, MECHANICAL ENGINEER OR RELATED for a HSE SUPERINTENDENT position, working in our corporate located in Mexico City, for important global firm dedicated to providing the best engineering talent to companies in the energy, petrochemical, mining and infrastructure industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out identification and assessment of HSE risks associated to current operations and in all the project phases.
• Ensure the implementation of the HSE Management systems in support of company activities.
• Ensure the implementation of Ptw System.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and inspections.
• Ensure the investigation of all incidents and accidents.
• Attend HSE meetings and toolbox talks. .
• Provide technical support and assistance to operations, arranging for HSE of construction and drilling activities
• Provide technical assessment and evaluation relevant to site queries and concession requests submitted by Contractors.
• Ensure HSE statistics and reporting for the sites.
• Ensure contractors performance monitoring.
• Coordinate and organise HSE supervisors, both contractions and company personnel, in day-to-day activities, visits, investigation, controls.
• Intervene in case of emergency at site, providing prompt support to ERT in place and keeping first contact with field manager and HSE Manager.


SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering Degree (preferred)
• Extensive experience in the Upstream Sector of the O&G Industry.
• Experience in HSE Supervision in Offshore Well Operations.
• Good motivation and positive attitude towards work.
• Team worker and motivator.
• Ability to make quick decisions and work without or with minimum supervision.
• Good personal communication skills.
