For our client we are currently looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor to support field safety activities on a project in Lysekil. This on-site role ensures safe execution of all construction work in a brownfield refinery environment, driving compliance with our client's and regulatory HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily HSE supervision and field presence across construction areas.
  • Ensure compliance with Company HSE standards, Swedish regulations, and site procedures.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety walks, audits, and incident prevention activities.
  • Coach and support contractor teams on safe work practices and risk controls.
  • Monitor work permits, JHAs, LOTO, and high‑risk activities.
  • Support incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions, and follow‑up.
  • Contribute to planning/lookahead discussions to identify HSE risks and mitigations.
 
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of HSE experience in construction (refinery/petrochemical preferred).
  • Proven experience supervising HSE activities on major EPC/EPCm projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety, work permits, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to influence safe behaviours.
  • English required; Swedish is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and weekends when required.
