TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for Human Resources Advisor. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who are seeking to grow their skills in a leading consulting firm.

Requirements:
• A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
• Four (4) to six (6) years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
• A high attention to detail.
• Certified Human Resources Professional (CPHR) would be an asset
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• An ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures and assimilate technical information.
• A business partner client orientated mind-set with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with a diverse client group including senior leadership.
• A natural ability to manage competing demands between different deliverables as an HR Advisor showcasing adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently, with self-driven initiative, organizational skills and within tight deadlines.
• Effective verbal, written, and listening skills.

Day to Day Activities:
The HR Advisor acts as a business partner to your assigned Managers and employees by providing HR guidance and support as well as collaborating with the appropriate HR teams (i.e. Benefits, Talent Development, Mobility) to provide solutions for your clients.
• Provide advice, guidance & interpretation of HR policies, programs and employment legislation
• Coordinate and consult on the process for domestic and international assignments
• Coordinate the actions, strategy and conversations around employee onboarding, leaves of absences and departures
• Partner with Managers and the Talent Acquisition team to help formulate a robust recruitment strategy to attract and attain top talent
• Collaborate with hiring departments and DE&I Manager to implement diversity and inclusion plans
• Coach and assist managers in the tasks and strategy around the engagement and performance management of employees
• Collaborate with the HR centres of excellence (Benefits, Talent Development, Mobility, Recruitment, etc.) across Canada to complete tasks as required
• Streamline and improve processes, such as onboarding, or HR reporting
• Various other duties as required including project assignments
• Other duties assigned
