We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Lab Manager to lead and optimize hydraulic testing and research operations. Based in Abu Dhabi, this role will ensure efficient laboratory management, accurate testing, and innovative solutions to support advanced engineering and dredging projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the hydraulic laboratory, ensuring all activities comply with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain and calibrate hydraulic testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Plan and execute hydraulic tests related to dredging, marine structures, and fluid dynamics.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to design and conduct experiments for new technologies and solutions.
- Stay updated on advancements in hydraulic testing methodologies and equipment.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the lab team.
- Manage laboratory resources, including equipment, consumables, and budget allocations.
- Optimize utilization of lab facilities to support multiple projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all tests, calibrations, and research activities.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Master Degree in Civil/Coastal/Maritime Engineering, Physics, or Oceanography is required or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 years' experience of Engineering & Design, in related industries, of which at least OS years in Hydraulic Laboratory Management.
