Our client that provides a full range of architectural, planning and interior design services is looking for reinforcement in their team. This firm is widely recognized for expertise in retail, residential, mixed-use, office and senior health-care projects. They are dedicated to high quality design, exceptional client service and the incorporation of sustainable design principles in their projects.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Interior Design program at a recognized institution; possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design is advantageous.
- A minimum of five years of experience with a Canadian multi-disciplinary architectural or interior design firm is required.
- Previous professional involvement in office space planning and commercial/office tenant improvement is essential.
- Experience with multi-family residential projects is beneficial.
- Proven capability in preparing and compiling drawing packages for various construction phases, including Design concept, BP, Tender, and IFC.
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating interior design and millwork details.
- Skilled in AutoCAD and Sketchup, with Revit and Enscape proficiency as a plus.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities with Senior Project Designers, Project Architects, Clients, and Consultants are crucial.
- Experience in preparing necessary documentation, coordinating consultant drawings, and submitting building permit applications across different municipalities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Proficient time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
