Provide strategic and operational leadership and direction to the business in all areas relating to IT management, performance, systems and processes
Ensure the provision of an integrated information system that helps to quickly save, operate and retrieve information and provide the necessary data for senior management to follow up, evaluate and make decisions, and work to raise the efficiency of the system infrastructure to meet the needs of different departments and activities. IT Manager is responsible for directing and controlling the development and maintenance of the group's information and communications strategy. Keep updated with latest technology related with the any of Retal companies core Business.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Defines the development requirements based on the study of the company's needs and sets the necessary plans for the required development units and system to support the business objectives of the group.
2. Following the applicable operating systems, and assesses their efficiency, and oversees the analysis of the needs of the departments used for these systems and sets for securing these needs plans.
3. Identify the specifications of alternative solutions and additions / updates needed and examine their technical and economic feasibility.
4. Examines and analyses the operating systems used problems, and puts radical solutions to prevent their recurrence, and the attention of the senior management, and oversees the implementation.
5. Follow up the efficiency of the work of computers and information network and printing devices and verify their suitability to the requirements of users.
6. continues to repair the faults as soon as possible and works to minimize them.
7. Oversees the provision of technical support to the administrations used for the system and ensures that the required guidance is provided to ensure the safety of operation.
8. Works to identify the needs of the system of equipment and supplies and follow up the provision and oversees the planning and implementation of the necessary replacement programs.
9. Establishes appropriate plans to secure and ensure the safety of the information maintained in the system and supervise its implementation and verify its efficiency.
10. Oversees the design and test the appropriate method to maintain the confidentiality of information according to the areas of user activity and functional levels and continues to apply.
11. Establishes business plans and priorities for IT management, distributes duties, directs its supervisors and monitors results of implementation.
12. Assess the performance of direct managers and develop career development plans to raise their skill level.
13. Establish robust infrastructure and high reliability level of service standards.
14. Ensure partnership and alignment with business needs.
15. Develop strategy and collaboration relationship between external and internal partners.
16. Manage IT projects, Strategic initiatives, and develop effective dashboard to monitor the progress.
17. Formulate IT policy and Procedures.
18. Define the price.
19. Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic and business plans, particularly in relation to information technology and communications systems, in support of the company’s mission and core objectives.
20. Define the principle and set priorities with stakeholder about Strategic IT Initiatives
21. Develop and sustain strategic performance metrics to ensure the IT projects and systems in high level of world class standers with continuous improvement
22. Formulate IT policy and producers to support company Objectives and align with high speed response to stuff needs and last updated technology.
23. Promote IT Department strategic platform to His team and make sure of full understanding that make the implementation smooth and effective.
24. Motivate effectively IT team towards achieving the Objectives.
25. Oversee the management of all data and information flows within the company to ensure that comprehensive and accurate management information is available as required.
26. Oversee the development and implementation of company-wide information and communications systems which provide all Required support to company operations.
27. Implement and follow up all project deliverables and methodologies which related to infrastructure, communication, ERP, programs.
28. verify the synergy of all companies of the group to safeguard the collaboration and relationship between external and internal partners.
29. Improve and develop Business Process with stake holder to assure the high level of automated and secure process and minimize the risk.
30. Provide a company-wide source of expertise on information technology and communications to ensure that managers and staff have the best possible information for effective decision making and accessing data.
31. Negotiate service level agreements with internal customers, contracts with external providers service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure that agreed targets and standards are met.
32. Maintain an awareness of new developments in information technology and ensure that the company makes the best use of any such developments.
33. Appraise the needs for all the functions of all the group and companies which application fit with their objectives and business to ensure that application will reflected to add value and optimum ROI.
34. Handle of any task within the scope of his work and assigned by his direct manager.
35. Manage the function of IT such as and not limited to: Programming and Databases Section - Networks Section - Technical Support Section - Security and Surveillance Systems -Archiving -Websites.
