Jnr Engineering Production Manager

Well established Engineering company on major mining projects in the Sub-Sahara region is urgently looking for a Junior Engineering Production Manager to assist in management of the workshop operations for new equipment, machine rebuilds and major component repairs of Mining Machinery for Gauteng.

Key attributes:
Workshop, production and maintenance for new mining rebuilds
Technical report writing and communication skills on both mechanical and electrical
Able to manage a team of technical competent people and provide training and upskill plan
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations

Education and experience
Technical N6 / National Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Must be a Qualified Tech with a relevant Trade – (Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Earthmoving Equipment/ Fitter)
Supervisory management certificate and or training experience advantageous
Minimum of 5 – 8 years in a supervisory or foreman position with OHSACT
Previous experience in a manufacturing / production of earthmoving equipment
High technical hands on engineering level is required
Computer skills MS Office
Own car and a valid drivers license is required
