Junior Estimator

Here is a new and engaging opportunity with our commercial ICI leader in the Edmonton area as a Junior Estimator! This organization promotes a working environment of innovation and collaboration. The Junior estimator role will involve estimate completions, take-off procedures and presentation. This opportunity extends mentorship, career development and future growth!

Job Duties:
- Utilize Microsoft Projects to develop preliminary construction schedules
- Prepare bid estimates for projects by properly reviewing and analyzing plans and proposals for projects
- Continually develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
- Complete conceptual budgets as well as design build estimates
- Complete market research and analyze cost-data for review, present analysis to management

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, estimating, construction management or relevant technical education
- 5+ years estimating experience in the ICI construction industry working on projects $1M - $20M in value
- Must have experience in computer estimating software (Microsoft Project, Smartbid, On-Screen Takeoff ect.)
- Journeyman certificate and on-shite experience preferred
- Work experience within a medium or large construction firm
