Junior Process Engineer

Our client is looking for a Junior Process Engineer to support their growth within the Energy Transition based on their own technology.

The job:
As a Junior Process Engineer, you will work closely together with the Process & Technology team and Project Managers.
In your new role, you will:
• Preparing process diagrams, engineering calculations, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and system designs;
• Managing internal and external interfaces to other technical packages (e.g. civil, mechanical, and electrical);
• Prepare input of the MER and permit application as well as technical business development support.
• Preparing technical input in the early stake of the projects such as funding applications, permit applications, and pre-feasibility/feasibility studies;
• Preparing technical specifications for the supply contracts including guarantee parameters and plant performance test protocols;
• Defining and following up on external engineering packages.

Requested:
You are solution driven and eager to learn, with excellent organizational and work coordination skills. You are open to working in a highly dynamic project team and can work across several projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering. A Master's degree is advantageous.
• Preferably 0-4 years of experience (this is your first or second job).
• Experience and knowledge of Engineering documents (e.g. obtained through an internship or previous working experience)
• Good communication skills in English and preferable also Dutch
• Work / residency permit for the Netherlands
• Experience with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Millieu Effect Rapportage (MER) and Life Cycle Assessments are preferable
