Role Purpose To source materials, equipment, and services at the right price, time, quantity, and quality — either directly or on behalf of project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure goods and services for projects
- Identify and manage suppliers
- Handle purchase orders, contracts, and invoices
- Support project teams with procurement planning and reporting
- Prepare and evaluate tenders
- Use ERP systems to manage procurement data
- Ensure compliance with governance, safety, and environmental standards
- Respond to internal and external queries
- Assist with procurement administration and documentation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Basic understanding of contracts and procurement processes
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ethical and professional
- Able to work in complex project environments
- Customer-focused and collaborative
- A-Level (Maths/Accounting and English) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years in procurement or supply chain
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, or EPCM projects
- Full UK driving license
