Electrical Lead – Solar Project Execution (Bikaner)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead with 8–12 years of expertise in solar project execution to lead electrical works for our ground-mounted greenfield solar projects in Bikaner, Rajasthan. This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency and a commitment to safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Lead electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV plants, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, SOPs, and safety standards.

• Contractor & Resource Management: Mobilize contractors, deploy manpower and machinery as per project schedules, and resolve local disputes effectively.

• Electrical Works: Supervise equipment erection, cable laying, terminations, transmission line works, and commissioning activities.

• Progress & Reporting: Drive site progress, prepare daily progress reports, manage MIS, and ensure timely communication with management.

• Material & Store Control: Ensure safe handling of PV modules, cables, and equipment; prevent theft and damage; maintain disciplined store management.

• Quality & Compliance: Inspect work for conformity with QA/QC standards, industry codes, and statutory requirements.

• Team Leadership: Manage site engineers, HSE officers, and third-party quality engineers to ensure smooth operations.

• Cost & Claims: Implement cost control initiatives, handle claims, contracts, BOQ preparation, and support procurement evaluations.

• Commissioning & Handover: Oversee pre-commissioning checks, close punch points, ensure PR/guarantee tests, and hand over projects to asset management.

• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with utilities, authorities, and internal engineering teams for interconnection, permitting, and execution inputs.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 8–12 years in solar project execution with strong expertise in electrical works.

• Skills: Proficiency in electrical installation, testing, commissioning, dispute resolution, cost control, and reporting.

• Leadership: Ability to manage teams, contractors, and local challenges while ensuring safety and quality.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with industry codes, QA/QC standards, statutory compliance, and project scheduling.
