Lead Software Developer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

-Collaborate with architecture and product to provide innovative solutions that help our organization delivery value to our customers
-Provide technical leadership to the development teams in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
-Advise and support team members in their career growth and development goals
-Work in a cross-functional, collaborative team aimed at delivering high-value solutions
-Design and develop end-to-end functionality using leading-edge web technologies as part of our engineering team
-Participate in code reviews, pair-programming, automation, and other activities to promote mastery of software engineering best practices
-Collaborate with team members to explore innovative ideas through experimentation, prototypes, and fast feedback
-Live, breathe, and work in the Cloud
-Utilize agile delivery processes while working with a diverse team of product owners, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver quality products for our customers

To be successful in this role, you should have:

-Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
-5+ years of professional experience in designing and developing scalable, testable APIs
-1+ year leading a scaled agile software development team
-Experience leveraging fundamental design principles and patterns behind scalable, clean architectures
-Experience developing web services and web applications using Python, NodeJS, JS, React, Redux, and/or other leading-edge web technologies
-Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (i.e. GitHub, Gitlab, etc.)
-Knowledge of cloud native technologies and services offered by hyperscale cloud providers (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
-Knowledge of agile development processes, frameworks (i.e. Scrum, Kanban) and practices
-Knowledge of latest security and compliance requirements in software products
-Well versed on best practices related to coding and API Design
