Location: Augusta, GA
Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire, salaried
Compensation: $90-100k plus up to 10% annual bonus
Department: Maintenance and Engineering
Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our industrial plant team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance program, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruptions to operations.
• Develop detailed work plans, including labor and material requirements, and ensure work orders are complete and accurate.
• Monitor and update maintenance metrics, such as work order completion rates, downtime, and equipment availability.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Work with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Review and evaluate maintenance procedures and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and other staff as needed.
Required
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferre
