TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Site IT Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry. The project site will be located in Kamloops, BC.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update user documentation, quick-start guides, and internal communications.
- Support mobile and communication technologies such as smartphones, tablets, and specialized field devices.
- Act as on-site support liaison for corporate IT operations when remote teams require local assistance.
- Manage inventory and lifecycle of computing equipment, including imaging and redeployment of devices.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security protocols.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including access provisioning and equipment setup.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Respond to and fulfill user service requests, including hardware setups, software installations, and account configurations.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
- 4–7 years of experience in a technical support or desktop support role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and common enterprise software tools.
- Familiarity with both Android and iOS mobile platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a team-oriented environment.
