Mapping Technician

We currently seek a high caliber Mapping/ Surveying Technician for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Corona, CA.

The Mapping Technician is responsible for working on as run of mill projects such as ALTA, Telecom, Construction Staking, and Environmental mapping jobs.


Job Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of the use of AutoCAD
• Ability to transform initial engineering designs using CAD into working documents
• Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to establish specifications and standards.
• Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
• May direct and lead the work of the Mapping Technicians on a case-by-case basis
• Prepare routine draft projects such as preparing various drawings of structures, systems, layouts, etc.
• Follows established technical specifications to prepare drawings and assist in mapping projects



Qualifications:
• Minimum of an associate degree in related area.
• At least 1-3+ years of experience in the field on related area
• Must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
• Dependable
