Marketing and Communications Advisor

Our client is a major player in the energy industry and is seeking a Marketing and Communications Advisor to join their team in Calgary, AB. In this role you will be responsible for building positive relationships, identifying sponsorship opportunities for the business, as well as identifying key events. 

Further responsibilities will include developing and executing the external communications plan, assisting with the internal communications plan, maintaining compliance with applicable policies, analyzing problems, and providing appropriate courses of action.

Qualifications:
- Must have 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications.
- Relevant post-secondary education or certifications in communications, public relations, journalism, etc.
- Must have previous event and marketing experience.
- Must have exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and oral presentation skills.
- Previous experience with energy projects is considered an asset.
- Should have experience with Adobe platforms such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
