TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Materials Management Director role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Maintain and organize material management documentation and tracking systems.
• Plan and manage logistics to ensure cost-effective transportation.
• Collaborate with teams to define material specifications and requirements.
• Develop strategies for sourcing and create bidders lists.
• Implement and oversee material management processes to meet project timelines.
• Ensure the material management plan supports the construction schedule effectively.
• Review and negotiate any contract terms and conditions.
• Coordinate and integrate all material management activities seamlessly.
• Work with discipline leads to create and approve comprehensive material management plans. 
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
 

• Minimum of 20 years of experience in Project Material Management or Procurement Management for large projects.
• Skilled in effectively communicating with diverse groups, including management, clients, and contractors.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
• Demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly skilled in computer literacy.
• Effective decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in the mining industry.
