Mechanical Construction Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Construction Engineer to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems across a range of construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong project coordination skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection for commercial and industrial buildings

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD/BIM software

• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems

• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and resolve technical issues

• Manage procurement and installation of mechanical equipment and materials

• Ensure all systems meet relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations

• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems

• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to project reporting

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools

• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and safety regulations

• Experience with project management and site coordination

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent (preferred)
