Mechanical Design Engineer

TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for Mechanical Design Engineers (Intermediate / Senior). This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who are seeking to grow their mechanical and package engineering skills in a leading consulting firm.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- P.Eng designation or eligible for P.Eng
- 8-15 years of experience in EPC, mining & metals, mineral processing, oil & gas industry.
- Technical background: mechanical engineering experience includes equipment specification, storage tanks, horizontal centrifugal pump (not API pumps), tailings pump, thickeners in oil sands (also known as bitumen slurry) work.
- Other equipment familiarity to a lesser extent, but would be helpful would be air compressors, crane, filters or filtration, layout and design, equipment package management, and review of vendor design documentation.
- Intermediate to Senior level of experience in related industries
- Experience in a lead capacity is an asset
