We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in maintenance and reliability engineering. The ideal candidate will hold a CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or CRP (Certified Reliability Professional) certification, have hands-on experience with IBM Maximo for asset management, and possess prior military experience with an active security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Utilize Maximo for work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and asset tracking.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical operations in a secure environment.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and compliance records in accordance with industry and government standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- CMRP or CRP certification (mandatory).
- Experience with IBM Maximo for asset and maintenance management.
- Military background with proven ability to work in structured, high-security environments.
- Active security clearance (Secret or higher).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Familiarity with DoD or government facility operations.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems in mission-critical environments.
