An opportunity to work for one of the World’s most admired Licensor MNC company is a global leader in oil and energy projects, technologies, systems, and services and provides its clients deep expertise in onshore/offshore engineering projects.
The right candidate will speak fluent English, have the right to work in the India and have a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in Package Design.
Brief Description
Senior or Principal Engineer - Rotating and Packages are multidisciplinary units that are defined by their functionality. Every component included in the Package (e.g. pump, compressor, valve, vessel, electric motor, Instrument, control system, etc) is important for the functioning of the unit as a whole system. Package Section is in charge of the management of Package Units on Proposals, FEED and EPC Projects.
The major responsibilities are:
Ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;
Prepare the material requisition for inquiry;
Technical analysis of receipt Bids;
Conduct technical clarification meetings with suppliers / manufacturers
Prepare the material requisition for purchase;
Monitor the technical execution of the equipment purchase order by reviewing supplier / manufacturer documentation ensuring proper communication with vendors
Adhere to the committed man/hours and budget;
Ensure timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer;
Meet quality and HSE objectives of the project;
Interface with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
Be the main contact for OEMs / manufacturers
Participate in the manufacturer's workshop tests
Qualifications
You must be able to demonstrate and evidence the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 7+ years
