Our client, a globally leading EPC company are looking for an experienced EPC Mechanical Handling Engineer to join them on a FEED project.
The Mechanical Handling Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical handling systems. This includes conveyors, hoists, elevators, and other equipment used to move materials around a facility. The Mechanical Handling Engineer will work with a variety of stakeholders, including engineers, operators, and clients, to ensure that the systems are safe, efficient, and meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical handling systems.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure that systems are safe.
Work with vendors to source and procure equipment.
Manage the installation and commissioning of systems.
Provide training to operators.
Troubleshoot and maintain systems.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in mechanical handling technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical handling engineering.
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and concepts.
Experience with 3D CAD software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
