"TRS is looking for a METHODS & CONSTRUCTABILITY MANAGER to join our international client’s AFUNGI PROJECT based in MOZAMBIQUE."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Constructability Analysis: Evaluate construction plans to ensure they are practical, cost-effective, and can be successfully implemented within the project constraints.
- Value Engineering: Explore opportunities for value engineering, finding ways to optimize construction processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall project efficiency.
- Collaboration with Design Teams: Work closely with design teams to provide input on constructability during the design phase and identify potential challenges or improvements.
- Methodology Development: Develop and implement construction methodologies that maximize efficiency, safety, and quality throughout the construction process.
- Identify potential construction risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that the project progresses smoothly.
- Contribute to project planning by providing insights into construction sequencing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Provide guidance and support to the construction team, addressing any constructability challenges that may arise during the construction phase.
QUALFIICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Degree qualification.
- Mandatory TEN (10) years’ recent proven work-related experience within Oil & Gas Industry.
- Preferably with technical key skills of module fabrication, erection on site
- Soft skills: communication, interface management, coordination with construction subcon & engineering.
