Mining Project Manager

This candidate will be responsible for manage projects in the sector, provide technical support for projects, mentor junior staff and participate in business development efforts. Travel to various client sites will be required as well as travel between offices for team and client meetings. It will be necessary to work with staff at different offices and in different disciplines, so we are looking for a candidate who is able to communicate effectively and maintain a positive and cooperative environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or technology diploma in engineering or earth sciences
• Professional designation such as P.Eng. or P.Geo. will be considered an asset
• 7-12 years’ experience providing services to the mining industry
• Existing contacts/relationships within Mining Sector
• Familiarity with environmental consulting, such as environmental site assessment and remediation, hazardous materials management, and emissions reduction and control
