Job role
Our client is seeking a registered Health Nurse to act as a first responder and provide health care management across a major oil and gas project site. The occupational nurse will also be responsible for developing and implementing health campaigns throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Responsibilities
Provide care and first aid treatment as classified by OSHA Reporting to all Project personnel and visitors.
Provide care and monitor any follow up treatment required to personnel until full recovery of the event.
Act as the first responder to any injury or health event across the project.
Provide case management and follow up support including maintaining communication with project for persons that require any hospital work related treatment.
Conduct premobilisation, random and post incident alcohol and drugs tests consistent with the project Substance Abuse Policy
Provide basic health checks to all Project personnel as required
Act as the Project COVID 19 Subject matter expert and provide regular guidance and COVID 19 inspections of village and communal indoor areas
Offer support and information regarding Mental Health and Wellbeing
Skills Required
Applicants must be at least band 5 RGN
Possesses a min of 2 years post qualification experience
NEBOSH qualification desirable
Further training will be provided
