"Our client is seeking an OFFSHORE PIPELINE WELDING FOREMAN with pipeline, structural applications Onshore and Offshore Automatic System experience to join client's OFFSHORE PROJECTS based WORLDWIDE.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensure the proper implementation of operating procedures.
- Ensure total understanding of own team and implement of all major contract requirements and project specification with the cooperation from the welding supervisor when assigned.
- Organize on site the technical training and qualification of all relevant welding team.
- Manage the synergies of the team members and equipment used in order to optimize the human and technical resources.
- Organize, manage and coordinate the work of welders during the various welding techniques apply.
- During pipeline repair operation, the welder foreman is the responsible person to coordinate the repair operation with the repair welder, NDE and QC team.
- Organize, manage and coordinate the work of welding assistance team (bevelling operators, welding equipment fitter, line up operator, spacer).
- Organize the basic welding equipment maintenance and decide of the firing line re-organization in case of equipment breakdown.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Technical qualification or equivalent qualification in related field of Study.
- Minimum: Welding Foreman experience at least 5 years on pipeline applications onshore and offshore with automatic system as per competitors.
- Experience with various welding processes like: GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, MIGMAG and SMAW
- Experience with various type of materials: CS, SS, Duplex, Iconel.
- Proficient English language.
- Experience with structural application.
- Valid BOSIET (OPITO approved).
- All relevant Offshore Certificates (mandatory).
- Must provide all relevant work certificates.
