Pipeline Stress Engineer

The Role
My client requires an experienced Senior Pipeline Stress Engineer. You will be required to interface with both Construction Contractors and the Client on a daily basis in a challenging environment. The successful candidate should be able to provide expedient technically sound responses to aid the Construction progress and maintain the Design Licence conditions.

Responsibilities
Using AUTOPipe models developed by the design office to analyse route changes
Running AUTOPipe to establish restraints for installation temperatures lower than
Reviewing allowable crossing lengths temperature controlled open cut crossing proposals
Review of anchor loads for any revised process design conditions
Review and analysis of complex OOS/MEBR issues
Review of any AG piping issues including'gooseneck' transitions
Analysis of 6Fd bend to test if increased radius could be substituted
Analysis of buried bends to ascertain any faults in the fabrication

Skills Requirements
10+years’ experience and an accredited qualification ideally in Mechanical engineering / Pipelines / Stress Engineering
Proven Project Experience in onshore pipeline development
Able to demonstrate strong Pipeline Stress experience
Knowledge and experience in AUTOPipe
