The Piping Design & Engineering group is a dynamic team in which engineering, design and leadership skills are combined to effectively support our clients. In addition to a solid education focusing on engineering and/or design, a strong set of personal competencies is a prerequisite for success. Being a team player and having an ability to interact effectively with client’s organization and others disciplines in our taskforce is essential.
In these projects the Piping design Engineering team is responsible for the routing of pipe systems, and the complete lay-out of the plant. E.g. Equipment locations, locations of new structures and platforms.
Out client's target industries are Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Renewable Energy solutions, life science and advanced manufacturing.
They work within a task force for the realization of multi-discipline projects in close cooperation with vendors and clients to translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
We are looking for a Sr. Piping Engineer for one of our large projects. Candidate will be responsible for managing all the Piping engineering and (3D) design activities in the area assigned to. The project is currently approx. 60% complete and the main task is to assist the India team in completing the construction documents by:
• Performing ongoing quality check on the design/documents prepared by the Mumbai Design team.
• Liaising with the Mumbai Design team on a daily basis to assist in resolving (technical) issues.
• Liaising with other Engineering Disciplines.
Experience qualifications
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in the (Petro-) chemical industry
• Familiar with multi office project execution (Workshare)
• Familiar with Lead tasks such as, manpower planning and progress control
• Capable of working independently
• Knowledge of Dutch and International rules and regulations
• English: Fluent in writing and speech
• Tools: Navisworks, MS Office (E3D is a pre)
• Good presentation skills
• In the possession of driver’s license
• Valid Dutch safety certificate (VCA-VOL)
