For our client's renewable project on a refinery site in Sweden we are currently searching for an experienced Piping Supervisor. Foreseen duration of this project is until end of 2026.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and Approve Construction Activities:

    • Oversee and approve construction activities related to piping systems.
    • Coordinate various aspects of project construction, including inspections, material submissions, and working drawings from contractors.
    • Process documentation as required.
  2. Implement Standardized Construction Processes:

    • Execute Client’s standardized construction work processes, procedures, manuals, and systems.
    • Establish systems of control for each construction activity within your area.
  3. Construction Coordination:

    • Organize, coordinate, and supervise construction activities according to construction schedules.
    • Monitor progress and review work to ensure timely completion within budget.
  4. Problem Resolution:

    • Resolve difficulties and issues in discussion with contractor representatives.
    • Collaborate with the Construction Superintendent when necessary.
  5. Mechanical Construction Oversight:

    • Handle all aspects of mechanical construction activities, including site investigations and surveys.
    • Work closely with other client Construction Supervisors (Electrical, Architectural, Instrumentation).
  6. Reporting and Communication:

    • Report to the client’s Senior Construction Supervisor on main issues, events at the site, progress updates, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
    • Ensure effective communication with the client and construction personnel.
  7. Deliverables Management:

    • Manage the completion of all required deliverables, including scope of work write-ups, isometrics, piping plans, tie-in lists, construction photos, and bills of materials.
  8. Client Requirements:

    • Coordinate with the client and construction personnel to address the client’s input and job requirements consistently with contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • A relevant degree, such as a Bachelor’s or University Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical, Construction, Construction Management, Design, or related fields.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in job safety analysis and risk assessment.
  • Ability to prepare method statements.
  • Familiarity with power plant systems specifications and work procedures.
