Plant Mechanical Engineer

We are currently seeking a Plant Mechanical Engineer to work for our client based in Hastings County in Eastern Ontario.

This is a perfect opportunity for a professional individual who prefers to live and stay in a small town countryside that promotes scenic rural living.

The ideal candidate will have direct mining and maintenance experience.

Requirements:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering
- P.Eng or eligible for P.Eng status
- At least 3 years of experience working in a Plant Engineer capacity
- Hands on experience and understanding of design drawings, operations and maintenance of mechanical equipment: dust collection, conveyors, rolling, elevators, crushing, screening, etc.
- Must have worked in mining production and processing environment
- Leadership ability, high people skills, and conflict resolutions management
- Strictly promotes health and safety in the production environment
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Certificate is an asset
- Ability to meet deadlines and committed to quality and accuracy
