My client manufacture high performance wood products that are extremely durable and stable. They are seeking a Process Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The company is providing technology for their first production plant at Hull, Saltend site and is producing design packages for future projects worldwide.
This role will require the production of Process Design Packages for future projects, and will be the representative for Front End Engineering Design and Detailed Engineering and provide technology input during construction and commissioning of core technology.
Although the site is in Hull this role will entail significant travel and as such you can be located outside of this area.
Key responsibilities will include:-
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Production of Process Design Packages for world-wide projects
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Ensuring that licensor process technology design is successfully transferred into the FEED, EPC(M) and into plant start-up and acceptance
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Process design and optimisation; software simulation of process; sizing of equipment
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Core Technology representative in project design office
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Liaising and interaction with licensees, contractors and joint venture partners on process technical issues
To be considered for this role you must have:-
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering.
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Process design experience in chemicals processes
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Ability to provide technology training for plant personnel
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Plant commissioning
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Several years’ of experience
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Fluent written and spoken English
